Graphic Design Website Resources
These days, there are so much amazing helpful resources to use when it comes to small businesses! In this blog post, I’ll be sharing helpful websites and apps for stock photos, organizing, creating content, and editing that I actually use to help me keep my business running!
APPS THAT I USE
MILKSHAKE
It can be a struggle when you have more than one website link you want to share on your Instagram profile! I discovered the app Milkshake on Instagram and it has changed the game for me when it comes to sharing links! Milkshake is like a mini-website or a 10-second elevator pitch! You can share links, services, and content. The best part is that you can customize it with their cute templates!
PREMIERE RUSH
I use premiere rush to edit all my video content for TikToks and Instagram Reels! It’s super easy to use! You just drop your video content and edit the length of each clip! You can even remove audio, add transitions and so much more!
STOCK PHOTO WEBSITES I USE
UNSPLASH
Unsplash is an amazing website where you can download free high quality stock photos to that you can use. These are real people taking amazing photos so the sky is the limit with what you can find!
PEXELS
Pexels is similar to Unsplash where you can download more free high-quality stock photos. However, with Pexels, you can find short videos that you can also use to elevate your content! I also find you can find a lot more diverse people and content.
SOCIAL SQUARES
Social Squares is my absolute favourite website to get feminine stock photos! It is a subscription website but, I think that it’s SO worth it because you can find beautiful bright professional photos.
CONTENT WEBSITES THAT I USE
PLANOLY
I use Planoly to plan my Instagram content! I would honestly be so lost without it! This helps me write captions, keep a library of hashtags and organize my grid. You can post content on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest! However, I mostly use it for Instagram.
CANVA
Who doesn’t use Canva? I know there’s a big debate with Graphic Designers using Canva but, I think it helps me mange content a lot better and saves room on my laptop. I love using Canva to create Pinterest Pin images and some Instagram content. I also use Canva a lot to create social media templates for my clients! It makes it easy for them to insert their content and reuse the templates or mix it up!
