Summer Make Up Must Haves

When it comes to wearing make up in the summer, I like to keep it light, glowy, and fresh with a little touch of boldness. Here are my favourite lip products and highlighters that I like to use in the summer.

Lip Care

While I’m doing the base of my makeup I like hydrating my lips. I also like using these when I don’t feel like wearing any lip product. My two favourite lip care products are:

Mentha Lip Shine - Bath & Body Works

I love using this because it’s makes your lips so minty and refreshing. It’s also not sticky which is the best part.

Ulta Beauty Juice Infused Lip Oil - Cranberry + Pomegranate  

This hydrates your lips so much! It also gives a little plumping effect to your lips too. It also smells amazing!

Lip Gloss

Lip glosses are one of my go to lip products to wear in the summer. Here are my favourites that I like to wear:

Colourpop - lay-z

This lip gloss is so pigmented. It’s a peach tone lip gloss with a touch of metallic. It has a touch of copper, silver, and gold glitters in it.

Gloss Bomb - Fenty Glow 

THIS IS THE BEST LIP GLOSS EVER. It’s just my go to when I’m in a rush and I need something on my lips. It’s hydrating and very comfortable on the lips. I think that this shade is a beautiful universal nude that everyone needs in their make up collection!

Too Faced - Sweet Peach Collection- Papa Don’t Peach 

This lip gloss has a warm peach tone colour. It looks best when you wear a nude lip pencil as a base and put the gloss on top. P.S it smells like PEACH HEAVEN.

L’Oréal - Havana Camila Cabello - Lip Dew 

This lip gloss is a bit sheer but looks beautiful for a natural look. It’s my second favourite lip gloss. This lip gloss smells like dulce de leche and has a copper caramel colour with a bit of shimmer. It also looks best when you wear a lip pencil or lip stick as a base and adding the lip gloss on top.

Colourpop Disney - Bibbidi 

This a great lip gloss if you’re looking for a clear lip gloss. I like using this when I don’t feel like any colour on my lips. This has a few silver sparkles in it.

Liquid Lipstick 

L’Oréal - infallible Paints 312 Nude Star

This liquid lipstick has a peachy brown tone colour. It’s very comfortable to wear for the whole day but isn’t smudge proof.

Lime Crime - Rustic 

This orange-red colour is so beautiful & bright! It’s smudge proof and wears beautifully!

Morphe - Suspect 

I love wearing this liquid lipstick when I know that I’m going to be all day. It’s comfortable and doesn’t really need much touch up during the day. It has a pink warm taupe colour and is perfect if you want to add a little drama to your make up look.

Wet n Wild - Rebel Rose & Give Me Mocha 

The Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit are some of my favourite liquid lipsticks from the drug store! They’re so comfortable! Rebel Rose is a mauve cool taupe colour whereas, Give Me Mocha is a pretty brick-red colour and is perfect if you want a little pop to your look.

Kokike - Desire 

This colour has a cool pink-purple colour. This is super comfortable and great to wear all day.

Lip Stains

Colorpop - Love Bite & Zuma 

The Ultra Blotted Lip is one of my favourite lip products from Colourpop! I have them in almost every colour!

Love Bite is one of my favourite colours, it’s a warm tone peachy nude that I like to use for causal make up looks.

Zuma is my all time favourite colour! It’s a warm dusty rose nude colour.

3CE - Go Now

This colour is on the cool tone side. It leans towards a mauve purple colour. It’s perfect if you want a pop of colour to your make up look.

Airy Ink Velvet - #8 & #10

These have a similar formula like the Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip and I love wearing this when I know I’ll be out all day. Both colours lean towards a red-orange warm tone colours.

Nars - American Woman 

I originally got this from a Sephora Rewards Bazaar! This colour is so pretty and bright. This comes out so smooth and velvety.

All these lipsticks are my go to shades that I love wearing. I don’t normally wear too much lipsticks in the summer because I like wearing lighter products.

Highlighter

Kylie - Fiji

This is my current favourite highlighter. This glides and blends so beautiful on dry and textured skin. It gives such a bright beautiful glow on your face!

Physician Formula - Rose Gold 

This colour is a beautiful peachy rose gold tone colour. It’s fantastic because it’s so smooth and also great when you’re having a very dry skin day.

Jouer - Rose Gold

I would consider this more of a cool tone gold highlighter with little flexs of rose gold shimmers. It’s beautiful and can make you shine so bright.

Fenty Beauty - Hu$tla Baby & Mean Money 

These highlighters make you shine bright like a diamond 😉. It has a champagne and peachy colour to it.

OFRA Cosmetics

These are so beautiful and so glowly! I mostly use the 2 lighter shades to put on my cheeks and with the darker shade I like to use on my eyes.

Morphe Bretman Rock Highlighter

Each colour is so unique and beautiful! I like using them for my eyes and cheeks.
