London, England 🇬🇧

I went to the Studio Tour in October 2019! IT WAS SUCH A MIND BLOWING EXPERIENCE! To see everything you've watched onto the big screen to real life! You really get to appreciate all the small details that went into the film!

TIP #1

If you’re staying in London, I recommend booking bus transportation with Golden Tours. The drive from King’s Cross Station to the studio is around an hour.

They drop you at the studio and take you back to King’s Cross Station. You have to book a time slot with your Studio Tickets so make sure you give yourself time to get to King’s Cross Station.

Golden Tours also gives you a time slot to get back to King’s Cross. You can book bus tickets online.

TIP #2

EAT! If you haven’t ate Breakfast or Lunch yet I recommend eating before starting the tour. They have 2 restaurants at the studio and the food is actually REALLY GOOD! We got fish and chips, steak and mushroom pie, and turkey sandwich.

There’s a restaurant by the gift shop and they serve traditional British food like fish and chips and meat pie.

There’s also another restaurant where they serve American style food like hot dogs and pizza half way through the tour. This is where you can also buy Butter Beer! (WHICH IS SUPER YUMMY)

TIP #3

If you still have extra time before your time slot spend time at the gift shop! The shop is really big so you can kill a lot of time there and shop! The staff is also super very friendly.

There’s also a few exclusive merch inside the studio as well. There’s a merch store after the Forbidden Forest and in Platform and 9¾.

TIP #4

We spent around 3 hours in the studio and we could have spent more time but, we had to rush towards the end to be able to line up for the bus to get back to King’s Cross Station in order to get good seats on the bus. So make sure you spend your time wisely if you have a bus to catch!

I think my favourite part was seeing the Hogwarts Express Train, seeing the potion classroom with the text books and props, and seeing all the paper product props like newspapers, packaging, books, and posters because I’m such a design nerd.
