Pick 6ix Sports Restaurant Review
So the 6 God Drake himself, has opened up a restaurant in his home town Toronto. It first opened up in the beginning of 2018. We were a fan of his first part owned restaurant Frings however, they closed down in June 2018. My family and I went during Happy Hour which happens from 2:00 - 5:00 PM.
Calamari
The calamari wasn’t apart of the happy hour menu but, we decided to try it. The portion was decent. It was incredibly crunchy and well seasoned.
Tacos
The tacos were $5.00 and was apart of the happy hour menu . We tried both beef and chicken tacos. The chicken had a nice spicy kick to it whereas the beef tacos had a good balance of sweet and salty.
Onion Rings
The onion rings were $4.00 and was apart of the happy hour menu I think this is honestly the onion rings I’ve ever had. Onions rings can normally be soggy or really oily. However, this was so perfect. It was so crunchy and well seasoned! It was so good that we ordered a second one to-go.
Poke Bowl
The poke bowl was $16.00 and was apart of the happy hour menu. I am allergic to fish. So I couldn’t try this but, the portion was pretty big and very generous. There were so many elements into the dish.
Jerk Grilled Salmon
The salmon was were $20.00 and was apart of the happy hour menu. I couldn’t eat the salmon but it came with rice and salad. The portion was huge.
Steak Frites
The Steak Frites also had a generous portion. The fries were extremely yummy. The steak was juicy and seasoned.
Overall, I think that the portion of the food is very generous, the cook was well done and perfectly flavoured. I would definitely come back! The location of the restaurant is walking distant to the Rogers Centre and Scotia Bank Arena. It’s great if you’re going to go eat before a game or concert.
